Sometime

I have this feeling
that's tearing me apart.
It started small, and
grew within my heart.
It seems to grow
by leaps and bounds,
this feeling I
didn't want around.
 
Why don't I want
these feelings inside?
Why does it make me
want to run and hide?
No matter how much I
want it to otherwise be,
it seems there's no room
in his heart for me.
 
Everyone should have
love in their life.
Without it all
that's left is strife.
Is it too much 
for me to ask?
Is loving me
an impossible task?
 
Everyone needs a
warm hand to hold.
Everyone needs an
"I love you"
to them told.
Without love
the clouds move in,
and the sun's warmth
is never felt again.
 
Sometime I hope
to see a cloudless day,
when the warmth of love
can come my way.
No clouds to keep
the sun from me...
When will
that sometime be?
