My Prayer Now Begins

Why am I the one
Paying for his sins
With this one question
My prayer now begins

He wanted another
My heart remained true
He’s the one who sinned
Why am I the one who’s blue

He feels no guilt
I feel all the shame
Somehow it feels
I’m the one to blame

I lost my family
By boundries he crossed
Because of my vows
Meant for eternity

Looking for answers
In prayers sent above
Begging my Lord Jesus
For wisdom about love
