Welcome

We've been called fools
on more then one occassion,
for opening our doors wide
To those from every nation.

We take in the poor and down
with evictions in their past;
Some had trouble with the law,
and found those thrills don't last.

We take the young mothers
with children and no home;
Families knowing only abuse,
hide here to be left alone.

We take in the hungry and tired;
Give them food and a warm bed.
We feed their souls kindness
wanting to reach heart and head.

To grant them a new beginning;
To help them gain their feet and stand;
To find the right road to travel,
all they need is a guiding hand.

We love our job and will continue,
to help all those that come by.
You may well ask who 'we' is...
Why, of course, it's my Lord, and I!
