Protective Wall

A wall has been built
By love in my heart
To keep my faith safe
And strong from the start

Jesus gave me tools
To build strong and tall
He’s here to hold me
No chance I will fall

His promises bricks
And His love the glue
Evil can’t touch me
As it use to do

Smooth as finest silk
My walls slippery
Satan is so mad
That he can’t reach me

I can spread God’s word
I can share His love
I can sing praises
To my Lord above

And I’m not alone
Jesus is with me
He’s teaching me all
To help others see

Build a wall of faith
Don’t let evil in
Jesus died for you
Your sins forgiven

He’ll give you the tools
He’ll give you a hand
To build your faith strong
Help you understand

The bible will give you
A ladder to climb
Each lesson a rung
You’ll find given time

You can’t help others
On Satan’s level
So get up on top
On a wall settle
