Lord, I see your hand on my brother's tense shoulder
Will you please give a squeeze and let him know you're there
Better yet, please take him within your warm embrace
Dry his tears and convince him that you do still care

Gentle his anguish, so that he may see the light
That will guide his next step into yours in the sand
Quiet his thoughts so that he may hear you answer
Give a sign of reassurance he'll understand

And last but not least, please grant his family peace
Bring into their lives abundant joy and laughter
Let them rejoice in the fellowship of others
Please bless them with a "Happily Ever After"
