While on my knees
I’ve taken the Lord’s ear
I pray for those hurting
Both far and near

I pray for their souls
And their earthly bodies
From wee tiny newborns
To those past they’re nineties

For those riddled with illness
Those in pain and confused
The scared and the lonely
And those wickedly abused

Lay a healing hand Lord
On all those I’ve mentioned
And through your miracles
Let their hearts be awakened
