Acceptance

Hear me giggling with glee
His message now clear to me
He's been patient so long
Time after time I've been wrong

A lesson placed in my path
Causing my tears and my rath
Can't go under or around
Blocks my way from sky to ground

Troubles poured into my life
My universe pain and strife
The Lord showed me such patience
As He taught me acceptance

Troubles surrounded me true
But then I learned what to do
I'd talk to Him and listen
To the answer that's missin'

No more feeling forsaken
Showed the road to be taken
His footprints more clear to see
Each time I'm on bended knee

A garden of mustard seeds
It's from here my faith now feeds
Leaving it all in His hands
Knowing this is in His plans

No more questions of why me
My eyes opened now I see
Troubles are lessons for Lin
Part of being born again
