I'm reaching out to touch you
In the only way I know
It seems my pen and paper
Brings out what's in my soul

I wish I could speak the words
To tell you how I feel
But shyness over takes me
And my words it seems to steal

My love for you deepens
With every passing day
It doesn't seem to matter
That you're so far away

I send you love and kisses
And a hugs included too
I'm glad I have pen and paper
So I can say "I love you"
