Inside Invitation

Standing at the window
Watching snow come down
Glass of wine in hand
Logs burning in the fireplace

A warm cosy feeling
With lights down low
Music softly playing
Not a time to be alone

Your arms circle my waist
Your chin rests on my shoulder
With a warm gentle squeeze
Your breath kisses my neck

A shiver races through me
As all senses are stirred
I feel your silent mirth
And love swells within me

Turning in your arms
Mirth is now mine
I feel your breath catch
As my body snuggles with yours

We've petted and kissed
But always drawn a line
Tonight my heart is open
I'm inviting you inside

Wine in one hand
The other at your nape
I begin feathering kisses
Upon your strong jaw

Evident is your arousal
As your breathing changes
The beats of your heart
Are only echoes of mine

Moving from the window
We gently sway in time
To our heart's own music
That's playing our song

Putting down my wine glass
So to have my hands
Free to explore you
As our music demands

Two strong shoulders
Under seeking hands
Under my playful tongue
A shudder is born

Pulling slightly away

Kaleidoscopic colors
