To cherished friends gone
You're forgotten not
Precious memories
Heart and mind has caught

You've left some footprints
Only I can see
Right across my heart
Where you'll always be

Laughter and sharing
Holding being held
Touched without touching
At these you excelled

Tears and sorrows halved
Smiles and joy doubled
Lent needed courage
And ears when troubled

Friendships I have found
Stay in my heart's mind
Priceless memories
Footprints left behind
