Embrace

There’s a cool wind blowing
I feel it rush through my hair
Lifting the long strands
High up in the air

Here comes the rain
Sounding like applause
Mother Nature’s emotional
Could this be the cause

Dancing in the rain
Keeping to Mother Nature’s beat
Face raised towards the sky
As puddles splash against my feet

I hear the roar of thunder
And the crackle of lightening
What makes a storm
To me so exciting

Listening to rustling leaves on trees
Until they’re whispering’s done
She’s sharing her emotions
And I embrace them one by one
