Two Little Figures

There's a big argument
Going on inside of me
Why can't those two little figures
Simply shush and let me be
I have found they disagree on everything
One sees colors one sees black and white
I wish they weren’t one at each ear
And they don't go to sleep at night
Twenty-four hours a day I hear their whispers
Do this...no, do that...no, do this
Don't do that...don't do this...yes...no
Who gave them the right to pester me so
Why can't these two little figures
