God's Many Rainbows

Looking out my window
I can see many things.
Likening them all to rainbows,
my heart praises God, and sings.

The tree by the fence is awesome;
a rainbow of yellow, green, and browns.
Below it you'll find many rocks-
God's colored jewels on the ground.

I'm Looking down in the parking lot,
and a smile comes to my face.
Each car is a different color;
all are parked neatly in their space.

Flower beds line the walkway,
with colors of every hue.
When thinking of God's rainbows,
these can be included too.

I'm looking at all my tenants,
as they hurry to come and go;
Each a rainbow in their own right,
and how I see this I'll let you know.

Her hair is blond with tints of red;
her skin is freckled and pink.
Her eyes glow like big blue marbles;
All these colors in one is the rainbow link.

So when you think of God,
think of all his rainbows too.
You won't only find them in the sky-
but in every day life, in me, and you.
