Touched Heart

My heart has been touched
By a poetic stranger
My heart’s telling me
Beware of the danger

He seems to just appear in
My dreams more often than not
And in these sweet dreams
He offers the love I’ve sought

My spirit dances on wings
And my heart flip-flops
In my prayers I wish for
His visits to never stop

He makes me feel beautiful
Both inside and out
He makes me feel special
Let me leave you in no doubt

But it’s all only fantasy
That’s only real in my dreams
No love could be as perfect
As this one of mine seems

If fantasy is all that’s offered
Than that it what I will embrace
I’ll accept all that it offers me
With a smile on my face
