Coming from the apple of many an eye 
From one who makes us swoon and sigh 
Beautiful words of praise and love 
Surly one of God's angels from up above

Always a helping hand to lend
Never just a sometimes friend
Keeping us all within his prayers
Love from God he always shares

Chasing away tears and bringing smiles
Showing the way through some of life's trials
Just being there for you and for me
