I often pray
Pieces of me
Are lost each day

A babe so small
This term of life
I can't recall

Memories fade
Where was that place
I laughed and played

On that first date
Did I arrive early
Or did he arrive late

Where did I go
Dressed up to kill
What was that dream
I meant to fulfill

Where did I go
Once a young bride
Smiling radiantly
Butterflies inside

Where did I go
New mom to be
Where did time go
I fail to see

Where did I go
Healthy and strong
I haven't seen me
In ever so long
