Sinus Problem

I wish he’d just shut up
But his mouth goes on and on
It seems once he takes his sinus pills
His mouth runs the whole day long

I have tried to tell him
Knowing the trip he is on
What started out as a stuffy nose
Has become an awful addiction

He hears only by choice
If your topic agrees with his
When I voice my own opinion
He say’s “It’s none of your biz!”

Then there’s the repetition
Like a recording in my ears
He jumps from subject to subject
Each with no ending it appears

He says he hasn’t a problem
That the pills just help him breath
As if I’ve not enough on my plate
Another goal that I must achieve

Can’t talk to him at all
Not when he’s up or down
Seems he’s happy I’ve lost my voice
And he totally ignores my frown

How am I going to reach him
When he in no way hears what I say
Only one option left open to me
I’ll get down on my knees and pray
