Three Lil Monkees

I was looking at candles
in a catalog on line today,
and lo and behold one
had something to say!
 
I saw three little monkees;
Two on shoulders...one high.
Upon a much closer inspection,
my pen started to fly!
 
These three lil' monkees
are true Christians you see.
Whoever had the idea,
should have made more then three!
 
Three of His laws
so sharply pronounced,
on pen and paper you
can bet I pounced!
 
Hear no evil sits on top
of shoulders strong and true.
See no evil is a blessing
I pray for me and you!
 
Then we have my favorite
as he's under my control.
The other two definitely aren't,
as I don't live like a mole!
 
When I light this candle,
I'll pray we can one day be,
like these three lil' monkees-
Our ears, eyes, and voices unto thee!
