My Secret Place

My secret place
Is mine alone
You can't get there by car
Or reach it by phone
 
It's not a long ways
To get there from here
I just close my eyes
And it's there I appear
 
Here's where I find
Most all I want or need
Every twist and every turn
I know where they lead
 
I like it here
Because I'm free
To be complete
To just be me
 
You can't get there by car
