Busy Mind

Words keep running
through my head
My mind remembers
only half that's said
It runs hither
thither to and fro
Where did all
the other words go
 
One moment it's on
the tip of my tongue
And then it's gone
like it's never begun
I try so hard
to remember them all
But there's just too many
words to recall
 
The whole meaning
of the words remain
Now different words
that mean the same
I just allow
my pen to flow
And write down words
as they come and go
 
Some writings may make
no sense at all
Because of missing words
I can't recall
 
But I hope my words
will always bring out
The feeling the writing
is all about
